وَصَلَاةُ عَلَى إِمَامِ الْبَرَايَا
ثُمَّ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِ أَهْلِ قَبُولِي

• Wa sallâtu alâ imâmil barayâ / Suma âline wa sahbi âhli qâbûlî
• And may prayer be upon the Imam of creation / Then upon his family and companions, the people of acceptance.

فَسْخِ مُخْنَنَّ بْطَيَبَةْ يَا خَلِيلِي
بِخُرُوبِ دُمُوعِ وَرْمِ خَلِيلِي

• Fasskhi makhnane bi taybatine yâ khalîli / Bi khurubi dumû’i warmi khâlilî
• Reveal my secret through purity, O my friend / With the flow of my tears, and be indulgent with my friend.

فَبْكِي واسْتَنْجِدَانِي بَوَاكِي مُزْنِي
خَافِرَانِ سَاعِي كُلِّ خَادِنِ أَصِيلِي

• Fabki wasstanjidane bawâkiya muznî / Khâfirane sâ’i kulla khâdine assilî
• Weep and implore, O my tearful eyes / And be merciful to all who submit sincerely.

ثُمَّ حَدِث تِلْكَ رُبُوهِ بِمَكَّة
بَعْدَ قَلْبِي مِنْ كُلِّ سَوُخِ سَخِيلِي

• Suma hadiss tilka rubûhi bi makkâh / bahda qalbi mine kulli sawkhi sakhîlî
• Then speak of those heights in Mecca / After purifying my heart from all impurity.

وَبَيَّنِي كَمْ قَدْ وُلِعْتُ اشْتِيَاقَانَ
لَمْ أُبَالِ خَطُّ فِيهِ آزَلِ أَزِيلِي

• Wa bi’âni kam qad wulihtu ichtiyâqane / lam ubal khatu fîhi âzala azîli
• Express my burning desire / Without worrying about reproaches, since forever.

وَبَيَّنِي كَمْ قَدْ حُرِمْتُ لَذِي ذَا
نَوْمِي مِنْ ذِكْرِهَا بِلَيْلِ طَوِيلِي

• Wa bi’âni kam qad hurimtu lazî zâ / Nawmi mine zikrihâ bi layli tawîlî
• Express how much I’ve been deprived of the pleasure / Of sleep, because of her memory, during the long nights.

لَهْفَا نَفْسِي أَنْفَاتَانِي طِيبُ رَيَّا
تُرْبَةِ الْبَدْرِ وَالْمَلَاذِ جَلِيلِي

• Lahfa nafssi infatâni tîbu rayâ / Turbatul badri wal malâzi jalîlî
• Oh, my soul yearns for the good scent / Of the land of Badr and the sublime refuge.

سَيِّدُ الرُّسُلُ مُصْطَفَى هُمَّ شَفِيعُ
يَوْمَ أَذَى تَشْفِيعُ كُلُّ رَسُولِي

• Sayyidil Russûli Mustafâ hume chafîu / Yawma azâ tachfî’u kulla rassûlî
• The Master of the Messengers, Mustafa, is their intercessor / On the day of distress, his intercession surpasses that of all messengers.

رَحْمَةِ الْخَلْقِ أَصْلُهُ مَنْ أَنَارَ
حِسِّ وَالْمَخْلَى بُرُءَ كُلِّ عَلِيلِي

• Rahmatul khalqi assluhu mane anâral / hissa wal makhla buru kulli alîlî
• The mercy of creation, his origin is the one who illuminated / The visible and the invisible; he heals all the sick.

وَحَبِيبُ لَاهِ جَلِيلِي قَدِيمَنَا
مِنْهُ نَلَالُ كَمَالِ كُلِّ كَمِيلِي

مِنْهُ نَالُ الْفُخْرَانِ آدَمَ مِنْ قَبْ

مِنْهُ نَالَ نَجَاةَ يَشْكُرُ إِذْ أَمَّ

• He is the Chosen One of God; He chose him and / Chose for his light every noble and pure origin.

مَجْدُ طَهَ مَجْدُ الْقَدِيمُ أَصِيلِي
وَكَفَى بِالْمَجْدِ الْقَدِيمِ الْأَصِيلِي

• Majdu taha majdul qadîmi assîli / Wa kafâ bil majdil qadîmil assîlî
• The glory of Taha is the glory of the ancient, of the pure / And the glory of the ancient, of the pure, is sufficient.

دُرَّةُ الْكَوْنَ الْبَرِيَّةُ مِنْهُ
فَهُوَ أَصَلِّ الْفُرُوزِ بَعْدَ الْأُصُولِي

ثُمَّ نَاخَاتُ الْبَدْرِ ثُمَّ تَدَلَّ

أَكْرَمَ لَاهُ الْهَامَ وَشُهْرَ وَالْيَوْمَ
وَمَعْنَى مِيلَادِ فَهْجِبْ خَلِيلِي

• Akrama Lâhul hâma wa chahra wal yawma / Wa mahnâ mîladi fahjab khalîlî
• God honored the year, the month, and the day / And the place of his birth, so hide, O my friend!

سَاعِ فَرَصْنَا ثُمَّ أَوْصَى
هُ وَنَارُ فَالْكُلُّ مُبْدِ رَحِيلِي

• Sâ’a farssana suma awssâ… / hu wa nâru fal kullu mubdi rahîlî
• Joy rejoiced us, then recommended… / Him and the fire, as everything begins a journey.

وَتَوَالَتْ بَشَائِرُ مِنْ بَشِيرِنَا
مَلِكِ الْكُفْرِ فِي الْعَذَابِ ذَلِيلِي

• Wa tawalate bachâ’iru mine bachîrine / Malikul kufri fil azâbi zalîlî
• And the good news followed one another from a bringer of good tidings / The king of disbelief is humiliated in torment.

رَ دَ أَمَّنَا الْكُفَّارِ مِنْ رَ دَ شَمْسَنَ
مِنْ خُرُوبِينَ وَالْحِزْبُ كُلُّ مُحُولِي

• Ra da amanal kufâri mine rada chamssane / Mine khurûbine wal hizba kullu muhûlî
• He repelled the hope of the disbelievers coming from the hope of the sun / From disasters, and their party is annihilated.

أَيَادَتْ مُعْجِزَاتِهِ مَا أَتَاهُ
أَثْمَرَتْ فِ عَمِينَا سُخُخُ نَخِيلِي

• Ayadate muhjizâtuhu mâ atâhu / Assmarate fi âmine sukhuku nakhîlî
• His miracles confirmed what he brought / And in one year, the palms fruited.

وَتَمَارُوَا فَنَا شَكَّ بِدْرَ وَنَادَى
فَانْدَمَا صَرْحَةُ سَارِي عَلَى الْجُلُولِي

• Wa tamârawe fane chakha badru wa nâda / Fandama sarhatu sarî al julûlî
• And they disputed, so the well of Badr complained and called out / Then regretted the cry of the swift one moving away.

وَالْجَمَادَاتُ أَفْصَحَتْ نَطَقَ ظَبْيُ
بِ صِدْقِينَ كَا مِصْلِي دَبِينِي خَطِيلِي

• Wal jamâdatu afssahate natakha zabyu / Bi çidqine ka missli dabine khatîlî
• And the inanimate objects spoke clearly, and the fawn testified / With sincerity, like the step of a graceful walker.

سَارَ صَوْتُ سَيْفَانَ وَسَارَ سِرَاجَنَ
وَكَتَكْسِيرِي كُلِّ شَيِينِ خَلِيلِي

• Sâra sawtu sayfane wa sâra sirâjane / Wa katakssiri kulli chayine khalîli
• His voice has become a sword, and he has become a light / And he multiplies all things, O my friend.

مَا يَكْحِدُ التَّكْسِيرُ آيَاتِ طَهَ
لَا تَنَاهَ فَالْكُسْرُ مِصْلُ خَلِيلِي

• Mâ yukhidul takssîru âyatu Tâhâ / La tanâha fal kussru misslu khalîli
• What multiplication does not exhaust is the verses of Taha / They are infinite, and greatness is like my friend.

كَيْفَ شَحْوِي شِحْرُ الْبَلِيخِ سَنَى آلِ مُسْ
طَفَى إِذْ يُبْتَلَى سَنَى أُلِّ جَلِيلِي

• Kayfa chahwi chihrul balîkhi sanâ al Mus… / tapha ize yubtala sanâ ull jalîlî

فَقْتَدَوْ اِمَامِينَ سَنَى مُهِّيزَاتِينَ
أَوْ زُبِلَ الْمُرْهَفَاتِ دُونَا فُحُولِي

• Faqtadaw Imâmine sanâ muh’izâtine / Aw zubil murhafâti dûna fuhûlî
• They followed an Imam with brilliant miracles / Or the slender spears withered without robust horses.

يَحْمِلُ الْبَدْرُ فَوْقَ جُرْدِينَ لُشُوسَّانَ
يُسَلِّلُوهُمْ حَيَاتُهُمْ بِ حُسُولِي

• Yahmilul badru fawqa jourdine luchûssane / Yasslilûhume hayâtuhume bi hussûlî
• They carry the full moon above the shining armor / They aspire to a life with accomplishment.

يَخْدِمُ الْخَيْلَ سَمَى وَالْبِدْنُ عُمُرُ
بِ امْتِسَامِينَ يَخُوضُ بَحْرَ خُلْيُولِي

• Yakhdimul khayla sama wal bidnu umru / Bi amtissâmine yakhûdu bahra khulyûli
• They serve the horses with the sky, and the body with life / With devotion, they cross the sea of vanity.

سَلَامُ نَفْسَا لِلْ إِلَاهِ فَمَوْتُ
ذُو سَوَائِنَ مَا آلَ بَخَاءِ طَوِيلِي

• Salâmu nafssa lil ilâhi famawtu / Zu sawâ’ine mâ’al bakhâ’i tawîli
• Peace of the soul is for God, and death / Is preferable to a life of prolonged avarice.

سَلْهُمْ كَمْ وَ خَائِمَانَ شَهِدُوهَا
أَسْخَانِ الْكُفْرِ حَيُهُمَ كَلْ خَاطِيلِي

• Salhumu kam wa khâ’imane chahidûhâ / Asskhânal kufra hayuhume kal khâtîlî
• Ask them how much, and with what devotion they testified to it / They provoked disbelief, their life is like that of the treacherous.

هَتَكُ الْكُفْرَ زَالَ كُلُّ عَزِيزِ
وَآ اسْتَرْخُوهُمَ كُلُّهُمَ خَيْرُ جِيلِي

• Hatakul kufra zala kullu azîzi / Wâ asstarkhûhume kulluhume khayru jîlî
• They tore down disbelief, all power faded away / And they restored hope; they are the best generation.

شَكَرَ لَهُ لِلْمُهَاجِرِي مِنْهُمَ
ثُمَّ أَنْصَارِي بَدَارُ لِلْقَبُولِي

• Chakara lahu lil muhâjiri minhume / Suma anssâri badâru lil Qabûli
• He thanked for him the emigrants among them / Then the helpers, they hastened towards acceptance.

حَرَزُو دِينِي فِي حَرِيمِنَا مَنِيعِينَ
حَفِظُوهُ مِنْ خَالِ بُطْلِينِ وَ خِيلِي

• Harazû dîni fi harîmine manî’ine / Hafizûhu mine khâli butline wa khîlî
• They guarded the religion in an inviolable sanctuary / They protected it from all falsehood and imagination.

رَضِيَ لَاهُ عَنْهُمَ وَرَضُوا عَنَ
هُ ذَلَّلَنَا مِنْهُمَ بِذُلِنَا ذَلِيلِي

• Radiya Lâhu anhumu wa radu ane… / hu zalilna minhume bi ziline zalîlî
• God approved of them, and they approved of Him / We are honored by them with a honorable protection.

رَضِيَ لَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِنَا مَنْ
أَنْفَخَ مَالِي فِ رِضَائِلِ جَالِيلِي

• Radiya Lâhu ane Abî Bakrine mane / Anfakha mâli fi ridâ’il jâlîlî
• God approved of Abu Bakr, the one who / Spent his wealth to please the Sublime.

رَضِيَ لَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي أَفْصِينَا
آلِ فَارُوقِي عَدْلِنِ فِ الْحُكْمِ رَدْعَلِ جَهُولِي

• Radiya Lâhu ane Abî Affssîne / Al Fârûkhi adlane fil hukmi rad’al jahûlî
• God approved of Abu Hafs / Al Farouq, the just in judgment, who repelled the ignorant.

رَضِيَ لَاهُ عَنْكَ صَاحِبُ نُورَيْنِ
عَظِيمَيْنِ مِنْ رِضَا عِي رَسُولِي

• Radiya Lâhu anka sâhibu Nurayni / Azîmayni mine ridâ i rassûlî
• God approved of you, O holder of the two lights / The two great ones, by the approval of the Messenger.

رَضِيَ لَاهُ عَنْ عَلِيِّينَا وَزِيرَنَ
لِ نَبِيِّ الْكَرِيمِي مُرْدِلْ بَسُّولِي

• Radiya Lâhu ane Aliyine wazîrane / Li nabiyil karîmi murdil bassûlî
• God approved of Ali, the vizier / Of the noble Prophet, who vanquished the brave.

رَحْمَةِ خَلْقِي يَا رَحِيمُ أَتَيْنَا
كَنْزِلَانَ فَالْطُفْ بِعَاتِيِنَ نَزِيلِي

• Rahmatu khalqi yâ Rahîmu ataynâ / Kanzilane fal tuf bi’âtine nazîlî
• Mercy of creation, O Merciful, we have come / Seeking your treasure, so have mercy on us, O host.

قَدْ رَجَوْنَاكَ لِلْهُمُومِ رَجَا آلِ مُسْ
طَفَيْنَا أَخْيَارُ حَبْلِي سُؤُلِي

• Qad rajawnaka lil humûmi rajâ al Mu… / staphayna akhyâra habli sûlî
• We have hoped in you for the worries, like the hope of the / Chosen one, the best of the sons of the question.

وَأَرَانِي إِنِّي أَنَالُ مَرَامِي
بِخْتَتَانَ أَنْتَ الْفَيْتُ أَنْتَ مُنِيلِي

• Wa arânî ini anâlu marârmi / Bakhtatane antal faytu anta munîlî
• And show me that I achieve my desires / Through a happy destiny, you are the benefactor, you are the granter.

ثُمَّ خَيْرِي خَلْقِي أَسْتَجْرَتُ وَمِنْهُ
أَرْتَجِي خُكْحْرَانَ لِ ذَنْبِينِ تَخَيُّلِي

• Sumâ khayri khalqi asstarjartu wa minhu / Artaji khukhrâna li zanbine takhîlî
• Then, the best of creation, I have sought refuge, and from him / I hope for redemption for my imagined sins.

رَبِّ إِنِّي وَلَوْ أُسِيءُ فِعَالِي
أَرْتَجِي مِنْكَ بِلْمَنَانِ الْجَزِيلِي

• Rabbi inî wa law ussi’u fi’âli / Artaji minka bil manânil jazîlî
• My Lord, even if I aggravate my actions / I hope from you an abundant generosity.

رَبِّ إِنِّي وَلَوْ هَتَكْتُ سُتُورِي
أَرْتَجِي مِنْكَ بِلْمَنَالِي جَزِيلِي

• Rabbi inî wa law hataktu sutûri / Artaji minka bil manâli jazîlî
• My Lord, even if I tear my veils / I hope from you abundant gifts.

رَبِّ إِنِّي وَلَوْ أَبْخُتْ فَإِنِّي
أَرْتَجِي مِنْكَ كُلِّ سَتْرِينِ جَمِيلِي

• Rabbi inî wa law abakhtu fa inî / Artaji minka kulla sitrine jamîlî
• My Lord, even if I am impolite, then I / I hope from you every beautiful protection.

رَبِّ إِنِّي وَلِوَالِدَيْنِ وَنَسْلِي
أَرْتَجِي مِنْكَ نَيْلُ خَيْرِ مَخِيلِي

• Rabbi inî wal walidayni wa nassli / Artaji minka nayli khayri makhîlî
• My Lord, for me, my parents, and my offspring / I hope from you to obtain the best of what I hope for.

رَبِّ هَبْلِي وَلِوَالِدَيْنِ وَنَسْلِي
وَكَذَا مُسْلِمُونَ كُلِّ خَيْرِ

• Rabbi habli wal wâlidayni wa nassli / Wa kazâ musslimûna kulla khayri
• My Lord, grant to me, my parents, and my offspring / And so to the Muslims, all good.

وَصَلَاةُ عَلَى إِمَامِ الْبَرَايَا
ثُمَّ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِ أَهْلِ خَابُولِي

• Wa sallâtu alâ imâmil barayâ / Suma âline wa sahbi âhli khâbûlî
• And may prayer be upon the Imam of creation / Then upon his family and companions, the people of acceptance.

ثُمَّ تَسْلِيمُ لَا نِهَايَةَ فِيهِي
مَا بَقِيَ الْمُلْكِ لِلْ إِلَاهِ الْكَمِيلِي

• Suma tasslîmu la nihâyata fîhî / Mâ baqil Mulku lil ilâhil kamîlî
• Then the greeting without end / As long as the Kingdom belongs to the Perfect God.
