Known as Mbarou Baye Niass, this highly symbolic space located at the entrance of the room of Cheikh Ibrahim Abdoullah Niass (RA) has been fully renovated. This historic place, where Cheikh Al Islam El Hadji Ibrahima Niass (RA) delivered his famous Tafsir (exegesis of the Qur’an), has now regained its former splendor.
This renovation was made possible through the devoted efforts of Cheikh Abdou Rahman Ndao Al Karim, thus continuing to spread the light of Qur’anic knowledge in this blessed place.
The official inauguration of the Mbar and the launch of the Tafsir al-Qur’an are scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2025, under the direction of Cheikh Mouhamadoul Mahi Ibrahima Niass, Khalife General of the Fayda Tidianiya and President of the African Islamic Union (AIU).
